COPYRIGHT & USAGE

I retain full copyright ownership of the commissioned artwork. I reserve the right to post sketches, process guides, videos, tutorials, and the completed artwork. You may request a Private Commission where neither the finished artwork nor any stage of the commission is shared online, however this commission type is subject to a Privacy Fee or can be declined.All artwork commissions from me are for personal use only and may NOT be used for commercial use. You may NOT involve my artwork in any blockchain-related technology, this includes but not limited to NFTs, cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence.You may use the artwork for non-commercial purposes. This includes but is not necessarily limited to: public and private display, posting the artwork to social media, and printing for private use. Crediting me is requested where applicable, but not enforceable.
~ We can discuss the ability for you to purchase commercial rights to the completed artwork at an additional 200% or more of the original price, discounts/sales do not count.NO ALTERATIONS. You may crop, rotate, mirror, or resize the completed artwork; such as to fit the dimensions of a banner or icon; and other non-commercial graphics. You may NOT edit the artwork itself without my permission. You may NOT remove/alter my signature from the artwork. For most commissions I will give you a close up version.

SAFE FOR WORK

My artwork is SFW (Safe For Work). This means anything suggestive, pornographic in nature or any levels of nudity will NOT be drawn, so do NOT commission me if this is what you are wanting. You will be declined immediately. This includes reference pictures given to me of your character or for the commission in any way.
I will NOT draw extreme gore. I will NOT draw anything that promotes discrimination.

TERMINATION

I reserve the right to decline commissions without explanation. I reserve the right to cancel any in-progress commission at any time, without explanation. You may be entitled to a partial refund if this occurs on a case by case basis.

PAYMENT

All payments will be taken in USD via PayPal or Ko-fi. Payment is taken in full after the rough black & white sketch approval. Payment plans are available only at my discretion and will be established on a case-by-case basis.

REFUNDS

Refunds are proportional to the amount of work completed. If you have received the first coloured concept sketch from me, you are able to receive a 50% refund if you would like to cancel the commission at this stage. No refund will be given past this point during the painting process.
~ No refunds for "Sketch" commission types, this includes "Coloured Sketch", "Stylised Portrait - Sketch" and "Silly Cutesy Sketches - Tip"

PROCESS

For more involved commissions you can expect me to provide a minimum of 2 updates before sending you your final finished artwork. The first update being a rough black & white line sketch (payment here) and then you will receive the first coloured concept sketch; this can be quite rough at times. This can vary on commission type - "sketch" commissions generally dont have a coloured concept sketch. You will generally receive progress updates after the concept sketch.For the first black & white sketch and concept sketch you will have the opportunity to make requests, at this stage, the idea of composition is developed. Once the concept sketch has been approved, any additional revisions may require additional fees. However, I will correct any mistakes I made at no additional fee at any stage of the commission process (for example, if I miss something clearly in the reference or stated).Note that I tend to work in desaturated colours and will correct this later in the my workflow, you can always request to see a WIP at any time.Depending on commission type turnaround time can vary. Typically no more than 30 days from payment, however most are completed within days. I will notify you if I have any reason to believe it will take longer.Here is an example workflow of the black and white line sketch, the concept sketch, and the final illustration:

A coloured sketch speedpaint of your character. Stylised in my looser style with visible sketch lines - final results may vary as these are a little experimental. I put limited time into it, generally 1 - 2 hours. High levels of artistic freedom - No revisions / changes, commission is in my hands. Depending on complexity price may vary. Expect minimal/no progress updates after payment.
~ +$5 for simple full background (flat colour or minimalistic background elements are free)
~ +100% for additional characters, depending on their complexity & presence in the scene, this price may vary.
~ Multiple small scenes/poses can be done to make a Coloured Sketch Page. Price will vary.

A coloured headshot of your character. Minimal/abstract/no background. Most characters will be drawn from the shoulders up but this can vary. Depending on complexity price may vary. Expect minimal progress updates.
~ Simple sketchy backgrounds are available for a fee - see "Illustrations - Portrait" for more complexity.
~ +100% for additional characters (e.g. couple/ship portraits)

A detailed Illustration of your character in scenery. Most detailing will go into the main subject of the piece. Depending on complexity price may vary. Expect several progress updates.
~ +80% of price for additional characters, depending on their complexity & presence in the scene, this price may vary.
~ 15% reduced price for full artistic freedom. No revisions or WIPs after payment. You are leaving the commission entirely in my hands. Mistakes/corrections will be fixed. I will not draw your character out of character with provided backstory & personality.

Detailed single fullbody shot reference of your character on a simple background. Choose between a floating pose or standing; dynamic poses are available. Depending on complexity and provided references price may vary.
For character design, this will be an involved process where you provide written descriptions, reference pictures, keywords, backstory, mood boards etc. to create you a new character. Expect several progress updates.
~ Character redesign is also an option, price dependant on how much to be changed, between $60-$75.
~ Add-ons are available: Fullbody/headshots/wingspread/eyes/items/accessories etc. to create a personalised reference sheet. All add-ons increase the price.
~ Name/text/colour palette are free on request
~ For simple characters/less detailed price may be lower.
~ Dynamic poses available to turn into into a full body Character Artwork with simple background.

A fun way to tip! Get a cute little drawing of your character, minimal stylised detailing and proportions. Full artistic freedom. Available on my Ko-fi!
